I love technology. When my daughter first introduced me to Chat GPT I was amazed. It's so beautiful how an artificial intelligence can write accurate and meaningful texts. Even poems, and within seconds... As a writer I sometimes spend hours on one paragraph, and here comes the computer, and writes a flawless, well based essay, in a blink of an eye.
This amazing tool has revolutionized our written communication. So much well written content and courses appear online, just because it's easy. I must confess, I also used AI for a couple of blog posts, it's so tempting... I even came across coachees who use AI to write their CV and motivation letters. And here is the catch. Although AI can write in a "perfect" manner, it is a very generic, non personal manner. It is hard for AI to communicate our uniqueness, our true voice.
Our readers, whether on social media, on job selection processes or anywhere, are humans. And what they seek isn't only our ideas, knowladge and opinions. They would like to sense who we truly are. What we humans crave for is to connect to our humanness. By witnessing the human behind my words, you can connect to your essence.
